2016-2017 NBA Preview and Predictions

To come up with my predicted standings, I use a pretty simple formula of player and coach rankings, plus a couple more variables such as team chemistry and star power. These predictions tend to lean more towards the “rosters on paper” side of things, but it is interesting to see how the standings unfold as I calculate the formulas.

The “score” is the final result of my calculations.

As much as I want to go against the grain, there really is little chance that the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will not meet for the third straight time in the NBA Finals. The regular season should be fun, however. There is quite a bit of exciting young talent. Unfortunately, there will not be much drama come playoff time.
