2025 NFL Mock Draft & Power Rankings – Week 6

Draft order based on my power rankings, which are posted below the mock draft.

1	Carolina Panthers	QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado – 6’2, 215 lbs	138-197, 1630 yards, 14 TD, 3 INT	I do hope Bryce Young gets another chance to start games this year, but as it stands now, the Panthers are 95% likely to move on after the season. It is still too early to determine who the top quarterback will be once the draft rolls around. Shedeur Sanders, Quinn Ewers, Cam Ward, Carson Beck, Jalen Milroe, Drew Allar and Jaxson Dart are all first round candidates. If you ask me this very moment, I would have Sanders at the top. He has shown grit, determination, talent and perseverance so far this year. Everyone loves to hate the guy because of who his father is, but he is very talented and a true gamer.
2	New England Patriots	WR/CB Travis Hunter, Colorado – 6’1, 185 lbs	46 receptions, 561 yards, 6 TD	Will Campbell would make a lot of sense here, but the Patriots are simply the most boring team in the NFL with a roster completely devoid of star talent. Travis Hunter is one of the most talented college football players we have ever seen. He could be a terror out of the slot on offense and shut down one half of the field on defense. Can he realistically play both sides of the ball at the NFL level? I would not put it past him. No matter where he settles in, he would be the most talented player on a woefully unathletic New England roster. As a Colorado fan, it warms my icy heart to see two Buffs at the top of this mock.
3	Cleveland Browns	QB Cam Ward, Miami – 6’2, 223 lbs	148-214, 2219 yards, 20 TD, 5 INT	Deshaun Watson left his talent at whatever Houston massage parlor he frequently visited. He has been a shell of his former self for the Browns, and if they have a chance to draft a young replacement, they have to take it, even at the astronomical cost it would take to eat Watson’s contract. There are several good quarterbacks here. Cam Ward has been masterful in leading Miami back from a couple of deficits, and his team sits at 6-0 on the season. He is 23 years old and Cleveland fans would hope he could have a Jayden Daniels-like impact in 2025.
4	Jacksonville Jaguars	OT WIll Campbell, LSU – 6’6, 320 lbs	N/A	Trevor Lawrence had his best game of the season during Jacksonville’s week five win. The offensive line is the biggest need, as Lawrence has run for his life quite a bit this season. Cam Robinson is an upcoming free agent, and an upgrade is desperately needed. Will Campbell is my favorite tackle prospect since Penei Sewell. He helped Jayden Daniels win a Heisman in 2023 and is about as pro ready as you could hope.
5	Miami Dolphins	DT Mason Graham, Michigan – 6’3, 320 lbs	21 tackles, 3.5 sacks	Miami had to gut its defensive front seven thanks to free agent losses. The defensive line was hit especially hard. Mason Graham is one of the most explosive, stat compiling defensive tackle prospects in years. A true three down threat, he can stop the run and get after the quarterback, with an impressive 3.5 sacks on the season.
6	Los Angeles Rams	CB Will Johnson, Michigan – 6’2, 202 lbs	14 tackles, 2 INT	Despite a terrible start, the Rams still believe they have a win now roster and may not want to try to break in a rookie quarterback in 2025. Fortunately for them, Will Johnson is available. He is my top rated prospect in this class. I like him better than Sauce Gardner as an NFL prospect. He has great size, top end athleticism and has racked up 9 career interceptions, including a couple of pick-sixes, showing tremendous play-making ability.
7	Tennessee Titans	QB Quinn Ewers, Texas – 6’2, 210 lbs	58-79, 691 yards, 8 TD, 2 INT	Tennessee has seemingly been on the lookout for a franchise quarterback since the Steve McNair days. Will Levis was a second round pick for a reason. He is not a long term answer. Quinn Ewers is going through a bit of injury issues, and his backup, Arch Manning, is the talk of college football, but I think Ewers will come back soon and reclaim his starting spot before he heads off to the NFL. I really like him as a prospect. He is fiery, athletic, and a natural leader. Something the Titans desperately need.
8	Las Vegas Raiders	CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame – 6’0, 190 lbs	16 tackles	The Raiders are another team that desperately needs a quarterback, but this roster is just too shallow to pigeonhole this team to the quarterback position. With rumors swirling that Las Vegas will tear down its roster, they may be positioning themselves for an eventual Arch Manning run. Benjamin Morrison does not have the name recognition of Will Johnson or Travis Hunter, but is very talented in his own right. He is a top notch athlete and play-maker, with 8 career interceptions to his name. The Las Vegas secondary is quite weak.
9	Indianapolis Colts	DT Deone Walker, Kentucky – 6’6, 345 lbs	15 tackles, 0.5 sacks	Anthony Richradson is what he was at Florida. A physical specimen with a cannon of an arm and unfair running ability, but someone who lacks decision making skills and accuracy. Plus, his style lends itself to frequent injuries. It is too early to pull the plug, but quarterback could be a sneaky need. This is a very solid roster, otherwise, but the Colts could use reinforcements at all levels of the defense. Deont Walker is a monster of a man, but more than just a run plugging boulder. He can get the occasional sack, which would help him remain on the field for all three downs.
10	New York Giants	QB Jalen Milroe, Alabama – 6’2, 225 lbs	80-109, 1274 yards, 11 TD, 2 INT	Daniel Jones has not been the worst quarterback in the NFL, but it is probably too little, too late. Unless he can miraciously bring the Giants to the playoffs, he will most likely be replaced in 2025. In my opinion, Jalen Milroe sits a bit behind the top three quarterbacks in this mock, but he is accurate, can manage the game well and can pick up yards on the ground when needed.
11	Arizona Cardinals	OT Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas – 6’4, 320 lbs	N/A	Arizona desperately needs defensive help, but Kelvin Banks Jr. is simply too talented to pass up here. The Cardinals are set with Paris Johnson at left tackle, but the rest of the offensive line is a weak spot. Banks Jr. has quite a bit of experience in a pro-style offense, and is athletic enough to play any spot on the line. With a small, running quarterback like Kyler Murray, protecting him is extremely important.
12	New York Jets	WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona – 6’5, 212 lbs	37 rec, 664 yards, 4 TD	The Jets are another team that could use a young quarterback, but they will more likely go the veteran route if Aaron Rodgers retires. This team has simply not been able to develop young quarterbacks. The team signed quite a few receivers and tight ends to one year contracts. Garrett Wilson is the only pass catcher with any type of future on the roster. Tetairoa McMillan has alternated amazing performances with quite games, but is fresh off of a 8 catch, 161 yard performance. His enromous catch radius would be a nice contrast to Wilson’s game.
13	Cincinnati Bengals	DE Mykel Williams, Georgia – 6’5, 265 lbs	3 tackles	The Bengals could easily be 4-1 instead of 1-4 right now. They have battled every opponent close, and some bad luck has contributed to the record, even more so than most teams. Sam Hubbard and Trey Hendrickson are both free agents following the 2025 season, and Myles Murphy has been a complete non factor. I have a feeling Mykel Williams may punt the 2024 season and prepare for the draft. Despite a lost junior year, he has top five talent and could fly up draft boards once scouts get a good look at him during the pre-draft process.
14	Atlanta Falcons	OLB James Pearce Jr., Tennessee – 6’5, 242 lbs	12 tackles, 1.5 sacks	Despite trading for Matthew Judon, the Falcons are last in the NFL with five sacks through five games. It is very hard to win if you cannot make the quarterback sweat. It has been slow going, but James Pearce Jr. is finially showing signs of life for Tennessee. He has 1.5 sacks his past two games. He is undersized and may be a situational pass rusher to start out his NFL career, but the Falcons will gladly take what they can get.
15	Seattle Seahawks	QB Carson Beck, Georgia – 6’4, 220 lbs	106-161, 1359 yards, 12 TD, 3 INT	Geno Smith has had a very impressive late career resurgence, but he is 33 years old and has thrown nearly many picks as touchdowns this season. The Seahawks have invested too much in its skill positions to not aim higher. Carson Beck put his struggles behind him with an easy win against Auburn, where he was able to manage the game the way he has become accustomed to. Scouts are going to want to see more top notch performances against great teams, but he could develop into a solid game manager. Seattle could definitely do worse with the 15th overall pick.
16	Dallas Cowboys	RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State – 5’9, 215 lbs	95 carries, 1031 yards, 16 TD	This match simply makes too much sense to not happen. Dallas is averaging 85 yards rushing on 3.5 carries per game. Ashton Jeanty is putting up College Football 25 on Freshman Difficulty numbers. Seriously, I cannot remember seeing statistics like this before. 95 carries, and is averaging a first down per touch. 16 touchdowns through five games. I do not care who Boise State has played, that production warrants a first round selection every time. Fantasy Football Dynasty owners are already salavating.
17	Philadelphia Eagles	DE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M – 6’4, 285 lbs	17 tackles, 4.5 sacks	Despite a slow start, Philadelphia has one of the deeper and more balanced rosters in the NFL. They desperately miss Haason Reddick, however. The team only has six sacks on the season. Unlike some other top pass rushers, Nic Scourton has not missed a beat, picking up where he left off in 2023. He had 10 sacks as a sophomore, and is on pace to match that this season. Combine that with great size, and he should be an easy potential option for at least half of the teams picking in the first round.
18	New Orleans Saints	WR Luther Burden III, Missouri – 5’11, 208 lbs	26 rec, 339 yards, 4 TD	The Saints amazing 2-0 start seems like a distant memory. The passing game needs a shot in the arm. Luther Burden III has had a bit of a down year, but I do not place the blame on him. Missouri’s offense is a mess, but Burden III remains a tough, physical receiver with great route running ability. Despite the troubles, he has caught 19 passes for almost 300 yards the past three weeks.
19	Los Angeles Chargers	EDGE Abdul Carter, Penn State	22 tackles, 3 sacks	Joey Bosa is one of the more feared pass rushers in the league, but he has only played in 17 games the past two plus seasons. Couple that with the fact that Khalil Mack is an upcoming free agent, and pass rush could quickly be a priority for the Chargers. Abdul Carter has good size, is solid against the run and is developing some pass rush moves.
20	Denver Broncos	WR Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State – 6’1, 205 lbs	30 rec, 433 yards, 5 TD	I have my doubts that Bo Nix will be a long term starter in the NFL, but I cannot judge him until Denver gives him some weapons. The skill position talent is woefully thin. Emeka Egbuka has had a very good senior season for Ohio State, playing the physical possession counterpart to freshman phenom Jeremiah Smith. Egbuka’s best game came this past Saturday, when he hauled in three touchdown receptions.
21	San Francisco 49ers	OT Emery Jones Jr., LSU – 6’6, 315 lbs	N/A	The 49ers are a very good, contending team, but the roster is getting old in a hurry. San Francisco takes the best player approach here with Emery Jones Jr. Jones Jr. is overshadowed a bit by Will Campbell, but is a first round pick in his own right. Trent Williams may play until he is 50, but Colton McKivitz is a liability, and Jones Jr. should be an easy upgrade.
22	Pittsburgh Steelers	OT Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona – 6’5, 336 lbs	N/A	The Steelers will always be too good to draft a top quarterback. They have also drafted offensive lineman in the first round two straight years, and could go for a third here. Jonah Savaiinaea plays tackle for Arizona, but I think he has Pro-Bowl potential inside at guard. The versatality would be a good problem for Pittsburgh to have, especially with Broderick Jones off to a slow start to begin his career.
23	Chicago Bears	DE Jack Sawyer, Ohio State – 6’5, 260 lbs	17 tackles, 2.5 sacks	Chicago is well on its way to being a pretty good team for a while. Free agent signings have mostly worked out, but both lines could use a talent upgrade. I like Jack Sawyer as a prospect. He has been a first round guy for me for the past couple of seasons. He is not a tremendous athlete or non-stop pass rushing terror, but has a very well rounded game and should not have to come off of the field that often.
24	Tampa Bay Buccaneers	OLB Patrick Payton, Florida State – 6’5, 250 lbs	18 tackles, 4 sacks	The Florida State season has been an absolute disaster, but Patrick Payton has been a rare bright spot. He is still developing his overall game, but showed what he is capable of with a 3 sack performance against California. The Buccaneers have struggled to generate a consistent pass rush the past few seasons. Payton may be a situational guy, at least at first, but he can get after the quarterback.
25	Houston Texans	DT Walter Nolen, Ole Miss – 6’3, 305 lbs	25 tackles, 2.5 sacks	It has not always been pretty, but Houston is sitting at 4-1 on the season, and looks like the clear class of the NFC South. They are in a position to take a swing on Walter Nolen, a former top overall recruit who is still developing as an NFL caliber prospect. Nolen had his best game of the season, registering two sacks against South Carolina. Pass rushing defensive tackles are a rare breed, Nolen should not fall too far.
26	Green Bay Packers	CB Denzel Burke, Ohio State – 6’1, 193 lbs	15 tackles, 2 INT	The Packers may have the deepest roster in the NFL. It is tough to find obvious needs, but the front office often drafts defense, so I will go that direction. Denzel Burke has developed into a legitimate first round prospect. He is a solid tackler and has two interceptions on the season. He could take over for Eric Stokes following the 2025 season.
27	Washington Commanders	DE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State – 6’5, 269 lbs	12 tackles 3 sacks	Washington looks an awful lot like the 2023 Houston Texans. Drafting a quarterback second overall and watching him elevate the entire team. The Commanders are ahead of schedule, but are not without deficiencies. The defense lacks pass rushing talent, however, with both Chase Young and Montez Sweat moving on in 2023. JT Tuimoloau never quite developed as a pass rushing monster, but is a very solid all around end who can play all three downs without becoming much of a liability.
28	Baltimore Ravens	OT Aireontae Ersery, Minnesota – 6’6, 330 lbs	N/A	Baltimore’s once stout offensive line has been ravaged by injuries and free agent departures. Ronnie Stanley is an upcoming free agent, and is on the decline. Aireontae Ersery may be better at right tackle, or even inside at guard, but has the experience and talent to start right away.
29	Buffalo Bills	SS Malaki Starks, Georgia – 6’1, 205 lbs	25 tackles, 1 INT	The Buffalo Bills miss their long time safety duo. As nice as the Damar Hamlin story has been, he is a backup talent at best. Malaki Starks is a solid all around talent who can cover receivers and chase down ball carriers.
30	Detroit Lions	OG Tyler Booker, Alabama – 6’5, 325 lbs	N/A	Detroit may have the best offensive line in football, and if they want the offense to continue to perform, may need to find an eventual replacement for Kevin Zeitler. Alabama offensive lineman are usually well prepared for the NFL, and Tyler Booker may be the best pure guard in this class.
31	Kansas City Chiefs	RB Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State – 6’0, 219 lbs	60 carries, 468 yards, 5 TD	Isiah Pacheco is a talented back, but has long struggled with injuries and may be more of a change of pace guy long term. Quinshon Judkins is an elite all around talent. He is a tough runner and competent receiver out of the back field. Andy Reid has never been scared to draft running backs early.
32	Minnesota Vikings	DT Kenneth Grant, Michigan – 6’3, 339 lbs	12 tackles, 2 sacks	The Vikings are unquestionably the top team in the NFC right now. They are solid on both sides of the ball and very well coached. This is not a team without holes, however, especially along the newly formed 3-4 defensive line. Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham make up the top defensive tackle duo in college football. Grant has great size and a sneaky ability to get to the quarterback.
