2025 NFL Mock Draft – Week 13

Pick	Team	Player	2024 Stats	Commentary
1	Jacksonville Jaguars	WR/CB Travis Hunter, Colorado – 6’1, 185 lbs	82 rec, 1036 yards, 11 TD	The fact that there are only two quarterbacks, Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward, that are worth investing first round picks in bodes well for the Jaguars. They could get quite a haul for this pick. Travis Hunter is probably the best non-quarterback prospect in this draft, and perhaps the best period. I am not sure what his role would be in the NFL. Dynamic slot receiver? Shut down cornerback? A bit of both? One thing is for certain, and that is this Jacksonville franchise desperately needs a player worth paying to watch play, and that would be the Heisman Trophy front runner.
2	New York Giants	QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado – 6’2, 215 lbs	303-413, 3408 yards, 30 TD, 7 INT	The Giants franchise has been an abomination since Eli Manning retired. The team finally moved on from Daniel Jones, and will do whatever it can to land either Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward in the draft. I believe Sanders is the better of the two. He is accurate, tough, can make all of the throws and is a real leader, despite what jealous fans and journalists want you to believe. I am not sure if he will ever be better than a glorified Geno Smith, but the Giants have to do something.
3	Las Vegas Raiders	QB Cam Ward, Miami – 6’2, 223 lbs	268-399, 3774 yards, 34 TD, 7 INT	The Raiders quarterback situation is as dire as any in the league. Fortunately for them, they are able to grab one of the two legitimate first round signal callers in this class. Through hard work and an incredible three school journey, Cam Ward has developed from a zero star recruit to top ten pick. He is a leader, and at 23 years old, might be ready to step in right away and bring Las Vegas back to respectability.
4	New England Patriots	WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona – 6’5, 212 lbs	78 rec, 1251 yards, 7 TD	It is very early, but Drake Maye definitely looks the part of a starting quarterback. The next step for New England would be to surround him with offensive weapons and competent pass blockers. Either receiver or offensive tackle would be the way to go here, but I give the edge to Tetairoa McMillan here. The Patriots have the most vanilla group of skill position players in the NFL, and McMillan would really help out Maye, as well as making the New England offense a little more pretty to look at. Arizona has had a miserable season, but that is not the fault of McMillan, who looks like a young Mike Evans.
5	Carolina Panthers	OLB Abdul Carter, Penn State – 6’3, 259 lbs	48 tackles, 8 sacks	Bryce Young still does not look the part of a number one overall pick, but he has played well enough since regaining his starting spot that the Panthers can look elsewhere with their 2025 draft picks. The pass rush in Charlotte has been particularly anemic. Abdul Carter has taken over the Micah Parsons/Chop Robinson role for Penn State quite well, delivering 8 sacks and racking up 48 tackles. He would be an ideal fit as a 3-4 edge rusher in Carolina’s defensive scheme.
6	Tennessee Titans	OT Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas – 6’4, 320 lbs	N/A	Will Levis is not a long term option at quarterback, but with the top two gone here, Tennessee is forced to go a different direction. Despite spending first round picks on the offensive line in recent years, it is still a weak spot, especially at right tackle. Kelvin Banks Jr. is over-qualified for the position, but could make the line a real strength. He is agile, athletic and has quite a bit of experience blocking for future NFL quarterbacks.
7	New York Jets	CB Will Johnson, Michigan – 6’2, 202 lbs	14 tackles, 2 INT	Despite loading up on veterans, it has been another lost year for the Jets. New York will bring in a new front office and coaching staff, so it is impossible to guess what direction they will go in. Will Johnson is the best player available here, and the Jets would be thrilled to pair him with Sauce Gardner, especially if DJ Reed leaves as a free agent.
8	Cleveland Browns	OT Will Campbell, LSU – 6’6, 320 lbs	N/A	Quarterback is the biggest need for Cleveland, but I am just not a believer in Jalen Milroe or any other available player at this point. The Browns have a few other big needs, especially at offensive tackle, where the disappointing Jedrick Wills will be a free agent. There are rumblings that Will Campbell may be a better fit at guard because of less than ideal measurables, but I think he will be just fine at left tackle. Either way, he is a very talented prospect that will fill a huge need.
9	New Orleans Saints	DT Mason Graham, Michigan – 6’3, 320 lbs	39 tackles, 3.5 sacks	Age and a long term trip to salary cap hell has decimated this franchise. New Orleans simply needs to draft the best player available here in hopes of replenishing some talent. Mason Graham is one of the more complete defensive tackle prospects we have seen in the draft in quite a while. He has the ability to get after the quarterback as well as hold up against the run.
10	Cincinnati Bengals	WR Luther Burden III, Missouri – 5’11, 208 lbs	60 rec, 665 yards, 6 TD	The Bengals sit at 4-7 on the year, yet have a positive point differential. It has just been a brutal, unlucky run for this team. They still have a playoff roster, but not one without holes. There is a zero percent chance that Tee Higgins returns in 2025, so someone will need to be brought in to take some pressure off of Ja’Marr Chase. Luther Burden III has had a successful season, considering how much Missouri’s passing game has struggled at times. He is a consistent chain mover and solid route runner.
11	Dallas Cowboys	DE Mykel Williams, Georgia – 6’5, 265 lbs	16 tackles, 3 sacks	Yeah, Ashton Jeanty is a perfect fit for the Cowboys, but as Dallas continues to lose and move up the board, a running back may not be the best value with their first round pick. Mykel Williams looked like a top five lock after a dominating freshman season at Georgia, but has not quite been able to build upon that success. Still, he is as talented as any player in this class and could shoot back up the board with a dominating pre-draft process showing.
12	Chicago Bears	DE James Pearce Jr., Tennessee – 6’5, 243 lbs	34 tackles. 7.5 sacks	Chicago’s defense has been solid in 2024, but adding a pass rusher to compliment Montez Sweat could take it to another level. James Pearce Jr. will need to bulk up to handle playing defensive end full time, but he has the pass rushing ability to help out a defense right away. The quick, twitchy Pearce Jr. has 19 career sacks.
13	Indianapolis Colts	CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame – 6’0, 190 lbs	20 tackles	The Colts have one of the deeper rosters in the NFL, and can make some noise if they are able to properly develop Anthony Richardson. Secondary is the biggest need on the roster, and thankfully Benjamin Morrison is here for the taking. Morrison’s junior year was mostly a wash, but I do not think his draft stock will suffer much. He may not have the size of Will Johnson, but is a tremendous athlete and has a nose for the ball, as evidenced by his 9 career interceptions.
14	Miami Dolphins	DE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M – 6’4, 285 lbs	31 tackles, 5 sacks	Tua Tagovailoa continues to prove that he is one of the most important players in the NFL, delivering Miami to three straight wins. The Dolphins have holes all over the place, most notably along the defensive line. Nic Scourton may not be the run stopper the team needs, but he is big and strong enough to play end in Miami’s 3-4 defense, and would provide some much needed pass rush as well.
15	Tampa Bay Buccaneers	OLB Jalon Walker, Georgia – 6’2, 245 lbs	49 tackles 5.5 sacks	The Buccaneers have a few decent edge rushers on the roster, but no one that puts fear in the hearts of opposing quarterbacks. Jalon Walker may not be the pure pass rusher Tampa Bay needs, but he is a very good overall linebacker, with the strength to hold up against the run and the quickness to get after the quarterback on occasion.
16	Los Angeles Rams	OT Aireontae Ersery, Minnesota – 6’6, 330 lbs	N/A	Despite going seven years without a first round pick, the Rams have drafted well enough to plug quite a few holes on their roster. Offensive line remains a need area, however, with both starting tackles set to become free agents. Aireontae Ersery does not have the name recognition of some of the other offensive linemen in this class, but continues to rise up the board as a safe, ready to contribute option for teams needing a young blindside protector.
17	San Francisco 49ers	DT Kenneth Grant, Michigan – 6’3, 339 lbs	28 tackles, 3 sacks	Injuries continue to decimate the 49ers, which has exposed an alarming lack of young depth on the roster. San Francisco should just draft the best player available. Kenneth Grant may be overshadowed by Mason Graham as far as Michigan defensive tackles go, but he is a first rounder in his own right. He owns rare athleticism for a 340 pound defensive tackle.
18	Arizona Cardinals	RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State – 5’9, 215 lbs	275 carries, 2062 yards, 27 TD	Arizona needs defense here, but Ashton Jeanty may be too tempting to pass up. James Connor will be a 30 year old free agent, and Jeanty could make this offense complete. He is the most impressive running back college football has seen in decades. My only worry is the number of carries Boise State has given him, but he should be a tremendous value to any team during the length of his rookie contract.
19	Atlanta Falcons	DT Walter Nolen, Ole Miss – 6’3, 305 lbs	40 tackles, 5 sacks	The Falcons are last in the league with 10 sacks through 11 games. That is not going to get it done in today’s NFL. Walter Nolen was the top recruit in the nation a few seasons ago, and has slowly developed into a solid interior pass rusher. He may not be the true edge rusher Atlanta needs, but is the best talent available here, and will still help in that area.
20	Seattle Seahawks	QB Quinn Ewers, Texas – 6’2, 210 lbs	189-278, 2089 yards, 23 TD, 6 INT	Geno Smith has had a fantastic late career renaissance, but is 34 years old and has an 12:12 TD to INT ratio. It would be a good idea for the Seahawks to think about developing a young replacement. I may be the last Quinn Ewers fan on the planet, but I still think he can be a solid starting quarterback in the NFL. His tape has not always been pretty, but he is tough, a leader and accurate. There is a chance he never develops into anything special, but if he can sit and learn for a year or two, I think there is starting potential here.
21	Washington Commanders	OT Emery Jones Jr., LSU – 6’6, 310 lbs	N/A	The Commanders and Jayden Daniels have cooled off a bit after a blistering start to the season, showing there is still a lot of work to be done in Washington. The starting tackle duo, in particular, has been poor this year. Emery Jones Jr. may be the second best offensive tackle on the LSU line, but he is a first round prospect in his own right, and has experience blocking for Daniels, helping him win a Heisman Trophy in 2023.
22	Houston Texans	DT Deone Walker, Kentucky – 6’6, 345 lbs	36 tackles, 1.5 sacks	Houston is the best of the worst that is the AFC South, but this roster still has quite a bit to work on. Most notably, additional defensive line help. Deone Walker has not been able to build upon a fantastic sophomore season for the struggling Kentucky Wildcats, but offers a tantalizing combination of size and ability.
23	Denver Broncos	TE Colston Loveland, Michigan – 6’5, 245 lbs	56 rec, 582 yards, 5 TD	Things are quickly looking up in Denver. The defense has been very solid, and Bo Mix has made progress by the game. Imagine if he had a full compliment of pass catchers at his disposal. The Michigan passing game has been a disaster, but Colston Loveland has been slump-proof. He is an athletic target hog who has been the entire Michigan offense at times.
24	Los Angeles Chargers	DT Tyleik Williams, Ohio State – 6’3, 327 lbs	25 tackles, 2.5 sacks	The Chargers defensive front seven is old and needs an injection of youth. Tyleik Williams is one of the better athletes at the defensive tackle position, and has 11.5 career sacks. He could play any spot along the Los Angeles 3-4 front.
25	Baltimore Ravens	OT Wyatt Milum, West Virginia – 6’6, 317 lbs	N/A	Baltimore will always a team that needs to draft very well, since it does not often use free agency to plug holes. Ronnie Stanley is an upcoming free agent, and the interior of the line has been a weakness as well. West Virginia is not exactly a hot bed for NFL prospects, but Wyatt Milum is a no nonsense plug-and-play option at tackle and a solid first round talent.
26	Pittsburgh Steelers	WR Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State – 6’1, 205 lbs	56 rec, 692 yards, 9 TD	Pittsburgh brought in gun-for-hire Mike Williams to play opposite George Pickens, but he will be a free agent after the season. Emeka Egbuka would be a perfect replacement. While he was never able to replicate his fantastic 2022 season, Egbuka has been a touchdown machine and safety blanket for Will Howard. He is a steadying presence and an ideal WR2 in the NFL.
27	Green Bay Packers	CB Denzel Burke, Ohio State – 6’1, 193 lbs	37 tackles, 2 INT	The Packers may have the deepest roster in the NFL. It is tough to find obvious needs. Eric Stokes is an upcoming free agent that will most likely not be resigned, which could open up a spot in the secondary. Senior Denzel Burke has slowly worked his way into the first round, and looks like a nice bet to carve out a long career in the NFL.
28	Minnesota Vikings	CB Shavon Revel Jr., East Carolina – 6’3, 193 lbs	8 tackles, 2 INT	Cornerback is the biggest need for the Vikings, and while I would worry about Shavon Revel Jr. coming off of a season ending injury, he officially declared for the draft and obviously feels good about his prospects going forward. He may need to sit and heal, but at this point in the draft, could be a steal and give Minnesota exactly what the defense has been lacking.
29	Philadelphia Eagles	DE Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss – 6’4, 255 lbs	31 tackles, 10.5 sacks	The ageless Brandon Graham suffered a season ending injury, and may have finally played his last down for the Eagles. Even so, Philadelphia likes to employ a deep rotation of pass rushers. All Princely Umanmielen has done during his five year college journey is rack up 25.5 sacks and counting, including at least 1 sack every game since Week 3.
30	Buffalo Bills	SS Malaki Starks, Georgia – 6’1, 205 lbs	55 tackles, 1 INT	Damar Hamlin has been a fantastic success story, but he is overmatched as a starter and will be a free agent after the year. Malaki Starks is a big time play maker, with six career interceptions. He is also an asset in the run game, showing that he can be a true every down safety.
31	Kansas City Chiefs	OG Tyler Booker, Alabaam – 6’5, 325 lbs	N/A	The Chiefs struck gold when they drafted Trey Smith in the late rounds a few years ago. He is an upcoming free agent, and with so much of the cap tied to Patrick Mahomes, will be very tough to resign. Tyler Booker would be an adequate replacement. He is a ready made interior lineman and could step in right away.
32	Detroit Lions	DE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State – 6’5, 269 lbs	35 tackles, 6 sacks	The Lions are a team built to contend now, so bringing in an experienced pass rusher could be a good move. JT Tuimoloau never quite developed into a top pass rusher, but still has 17 career sacks and is solid against the run as well.
