Welcome to Mock Draft Monday!
Draft order is based on point differential. Once every team has played at least ten games, it will be “if the draft was today” order.
As always, lottery ran because I love the randomness so much.

1. Miami Heat (2)
PG/SG Stefan Joksimovic, Slovenia
6’7,187 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
I would usually say that it is way too early to consider Miami here, but they may well be a play-in team, and with the new lottery reform, may very well pick here. This is an imbalanced roster that desperately needs somebody that can create offense out of the back court. Most foreign teens are coming to the states to play in college, so true international prospects are far and few between. Stefan Joksimovic is an exception. I think the flashy Euro League guard is the one player in this class with true superstar potential. Like fellow countryman Luka Doncic, Joksimovic is a crafty scorer with some point guard skills. He is not a great shooter yet, but has the potential to be a very good offensive player.

2. Chicago Bulls (4)
SF/PF Tyran Stokes, Fr, Kansas
6’7, 230 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
The rebuilding Chicago Bulls seem to have won with Caleb Wilson, but are far away enough to go best player available. Tyran Stokes has some immaturity concerns and is not the best shooter, but he has good size, is a versatile scorer and willing defender. He also has real point-forward passing ability. At this very early stage, he is considered the consensus best prospect in this class.

3. Houston Rockets (from BKN) (10)
PG/SG Jordan Smith Jr., Fr, Arkansas
6’2, 210 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
The amount of traded picks in this draft is staggering. Couple that with the new lottery reform, and some very good teams could have high draft picks in 2027. Enter the 50 win Houston Rockets. Jordan Smith Jr. could be a great fit for them as a possible eventual replacement for Fred VanVleet. Like the other top prospects, his shooting lacks a bit behind, but he is a tough, aggressive scorer and tenacious defender. With Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas off to the NBA, Smith Jr. should have the keys to the Arkansas offense.

4. New Orleans Pelicans (13)
SG/SF Caleb Holt, Fr, Arizona
6’5, 215 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
The Pelicans will get the best of their own pick or Milwaukee’s pick in 2027. They win the first crap shoot lottery, and draft a possible long term BACK COURT running mate for Jeremiah Fears. Like many young players in this class, Caleb Holt has a ways to go as a shooter, but is strong, compact and aggressive offensively. He could also be a plus defender and rebounder.

5. Charlotte Hornets (6)
SG Braylon Mullins, So, Connecticut
6’6, 196 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 12.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.4 apg
With two lottery picks, Charlotte doubles up on Kon Knueppel with even more shooting. Braylon Mullins could be the top non-freshman or Euro in this class. He was a part time player for UConn during his freshman season, but should step into an alpha role this year. He is a fantastic shooter with good size, and could be a solid defender as well. Shooting is always in demand, and he may be the best at it in this class.

6. Brooklyn Nets (from NYK) (11)
SG/SF Bruce Branch III, Fr, BYU
6’7, 190 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
There is no way that the Knicks will be a lottery team, but Brooklyn fans can dream. Bruce Branch III is a solid two-way wing with athletic upside. He may not have the strength and defensive ability of the other top prospects, but he can shoot, drive to the basket, and will not embarrass himself defensively.

7. Oklahoma City Thunder (from DEN) (14)
SF/PF Anthony Thompson, Fr, Ohio State
6’9, 210 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
The Thunder are the envy of the NBA, in part to the number of upcoming picks they still own. They can afford to let expensive veterans go, because of the plethora of picks available to draft their replacements. Anthony Thompson may be Ohio State’s highest ever basketball recruit. He has ideal size for a swing forward, and is a very good shooter. The rest of his game is coming together, but thanks to his jump shot, strength and length, he could be a favorite of

8. Golden State Warriors (7)
C Motiejus Krivas, Sr, Arizona
7’2, 260 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 10.4 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 1.1 apg
The Warriors want to continue to contend, but half their team seems to be injured. It seems like teams are more inclined to take seniors in the lottery. Motiejus Krivas is not a huge offensive threat, but has great size, and can provide tough defense and rebounding. Golden State always seems short on size, and Krivas could help balance out the roster.

9. Sacramento Kings (3)
SF/PF Hugo Yimga-Moukouri, France
6’8, 219 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 9.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 0.4 apg
Darius Acuff Jr. already looks like a major liability defensively. Sacramento has 99 problems, and toughness is one. France sat the 2026 draft out, but is back here, with yet another long, intriguing prospect. Like Noa Essengue and Tidjane Saluan, Hugo Yimga-Moukori is more defense than offense and shooting at this point. He has good size, is strong, and has the ability to be a good combo forward who can score tough buckets and provide solid defense.

10. Orlando Magic (10)
C Luigi Suigo, Fr, Villanova
7’3, 289 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
Wendell Carter Jr. seems to be the weak link in Orlando’s starting lineup. Luigi Suigo generated some late first round looks during the 2026 draft process, but chose to head to Villanova for at least one season. He is huge, but has more of a finesse game offensively. He has legitimate three point range on his jump shot. A huge project, literally and figuratively, but a name to remember.

11. Memphis Grizzlies (from CLE) (15)
SG Quentin Coleman, Fr, Illinois
6’4, 180 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
Memphis could have up to four first round picks in 2027. The Illini are a team led by a bunch of veteran European born players, but top recruit Quentin Coleman will take over for Keaton Wagler. He is one of the better shooters in this class. It is impossible to predict what freshmen could have big roles at this point, but Coleman has potential.

12. Houston Rockets (from PHX) (1)
SF/PF Thomas Haugh, Sr, Florida
6’9, 215 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 17.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.1 apg
The 50 win Rockets land their second lottery pick in this draft. Thomas Haugh could have been a late lottery pick in 2026, but chose to return to Florida for his senior season. He had little to gain by skipping the NBA, as he may be maxed out as a prospect, but his ability to shoot, rebound and play solid defense, along with his experience, should make him attractive to a team like Houston.

13. Memphis Grizzlies (from UTA) (9)
SG/SF Ivan Kharchenkov, So, Arizona
6’7, 230 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 10.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.3 apg
The Grizzlies drafted an offensive minded wing with its first pick, and goes the other way here. he German born Ivan Kharchenkov is one of the better on the ball defenders in this class. He is strong and rugged, and would would remind Grizzlies fans of the grit and grind era.

14. Atlanta Hawks (from MIL) (8)
SG/SF Amari Allen, So, Alabama
6’6, 215 lbs
2025;2026 Stats: 11.4 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 3.1 apg
Atlanta gets the worst of Milwaukee and New Orleans first round pick, so there is a great chance they could have yet another lottery selection in 2027. Amari Allen has a nice all around game, and could easily outplay this draft slot with continued development. He should be the leader of what could be a pretty good Alabama team.

15. Charlotte Hornets (from DAL) (12)
PF/C Patrick Ngongba II, Jr., Duke
6’11, 250 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 10.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 2.0 apg
With its second lottery pick, Charlotte chooses to forego drafting another freshman for an upper-classman with a defined role. Patrick Ngongba II is not exciting, but should be a decent enough starting center for quite a while. He can score with efficiency, rebound his position and will not hurt his team defensively.

16. Sacramento Kings (from SAC) (16)
SG/SF Baba Oladotun, Fr, Maryland
6’10, 205 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
On the very off-chance that San Antonio’s pick falls in the top 16, it will go to Sacramento. The Kings need all the help it can get. The Maryland commit, Baba Oladotun, can really stroke it from deep. However, he is thin and weak, and needs to both bulk up and expand his overall game. However, his ability to shoot will get him plenty of late lottery looks, in hopes the rest of his game expands.

17. Boston Celtics
SG/SF Trey McKenney, So, Michigan
6’4, 220 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 9.9 ppg, 2.8 rpg,0.9 apg
Every team could use bench shooting. Trey McKenney shot 39% from deep as a freshman, and could double his scoring average as a sophomore, as Michigan lost quite a bit of offensive power, both to the NBA and to injury.

18. Washington Wizards
PG/SG Alijah Arenas, So, USC
6’6, 199 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 14.1 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 2.1 apg
Washington is going with the dual-timeline thing, building around both AJ Dybantsa and a couple of big name veterans. Considering all he dealt with, from an injury to a car accident, the fact that Alijah Arenas returned to the court at all in 202-2026 was a huge success. He should continue to improve his scoring percentages, and could flirt with 20 points per game as a sophomore. Arenas probably fits best as a combo scoring guard off of the bench.

19. Philadelphia 76ers
SF/PF Miikka Muurinen, Fr, Arkansas
7’0, 220 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
The 76ers star studded roster lacks front court depth. Looking at Miikaa Muurinen in practices and scrimmages, it would be easy to convince yourself that he is the best prospect in this class. He has failed to consistently produce in games, however. He will try his hand at an American college, joining John Calipari at Arkansas. Muurinen has elite size and skills for a stretch big/wing. He can shoot, and get to the basket. Consistency, effort and defense are all question marks.

20. Oklahoma City Thunder (from LAC)
PG/SG Jason Crowe Jr., Fr, Missouri
6’4, 190 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
Jason Crowe Jr. is the second highest player Missouri has ever recruited. He is one of the best scorers amongst incoming freshmen. Whether he can show point guard skills to elevate him beyond combo status remains to be seen, but his ability to get buckets should eventually make him an asset off of the Thunder bench.

21. Indiana Pacers
C Matas Vokieaitis, So, Texas
7’0, 255 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 15.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 0.6 apg
After a waste of a 2025-2026 season, the Pacers will hope to storm back into contention this year. Matas Vokieaitis had a very good freshman season for Texas. He reminds me a bit of Jonas Valanciunas. An offensive minded center who can chip in enough on the boards and defensively to become a low end starter. He would be a nice compliment to Ivica Zubac.

22. Brooklyn Nets (from HOU)
SF/PF Christian Collins, Fr, USC
6’9, 200 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
Houston has the option to swap first round picks with the Nets, which is why Brooklyn is picking here. Other than the top guys, it is hard to predict what incoming freshman will have an impact and be included in my 2027 draft class. Right now, I am adding players who seem to be in a good position to play solid minutes. Christian Collins should be a solid running mate for Alijah Arenas at USC. He is tall, lanky and has a good jump shot. Like a lot of young guys, he needs to get stronger, but there is starting potential here.

23. Los Angeles Clippers (from TOR)
PF Cameron Williams, Fr, Duke
7’0, 215 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: N/A
The Clippers received the death penalty from the league, but at least get to keep this pick. Cameron Williams was Duke’s top recruit, but is not expected to be a big part of the rotation to start the year. He is a bit like a less polished version of Caleb Wilson offensively. He needs to get stronger, but may be the best shot blocker of any incoming top freshman.

24. Toronto Raptors (from OKC)
SG/SF Dame Sarr, So, Duke
6’8, 200 lbs
2025;2026 Stats: 6.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.1 apg
The Thunder seem to own every pick in this draft excerpt their own. Dame Sarr is an intriguing defensive wing prospect, who could explode as a sophomore. It was rough for him offensively, but he does have potential as a scorer. It is his length and ability to be a pesky defender that could get him plenty of first round looks a year from now.

25. Memphis Grizzlies
C Malachi Moreno, So, Kentucky
7’0, 250 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 7.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.8 apg
This is the Grizzlies third pick of the first round. After a freshman season where he showed promise as a scorer, rebounder and even playmaker, Malachi Moreno went through the pre-draft process, but chose to return to Kentucky for his sophomore year. With an expanded role, he could flirt with a double double, which could make him an easy first round pick.

26. Detroit Pistons
SF/PF Milan Momcilovic, Sr, Kentucky
6’8, 225 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 16.9 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 1.0 apg
Detroit needs to continue to surround its stars with shooters. That may be all Milan Momcilovic cab do, but he is darn good at it. The Kentucky transfer knocked down almost half of his three point attempts last year, and looks like a Duncan Robinson clone.

27. Memphis Grizzlies (from LAL)
SG/SF Billy Richmond III, Jr, Arkansas
6’7, 205 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 11.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.0 apg
This is the Grizzlies fourth pick in this draft. Arkansas had a lot of mouths to feed last year, but Billy Richmond III was impressive, despite limited touches. He is a solid mid-range scorer and a good defender. If he can push his three point percentage into the 30’s, he could be a top 20 pick.

28. San Antonio Spurs (from ATL)
PF/C Rueben Chinyelu, Sr, Florida
6’10, 265 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 10.9 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 1.0 bpg
The Spurs could continue using its draft picks to add beef to its roster. The Florida Gators may have the best front court in college basketball, and Rueben Chinyelu plays a key role. The tough 265 pounder is one of the best rebounders in the nation, and is a tough defender. The lack of any range on his shot probably limits him to back up center status, but Philadelphia will be fine with that.

29. Phoenix Suns (from MIN)
SG/SF Shelton Henderson, So, Miami
6’6, 240 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 13.8 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 2.1 apg
Shelton Henderson is a jump shot away from no-doubt first round status. He is a tough scorer and solid defender, but he needs to show that he can knock downlong range jumpers.

30. Portland Trail Blazers
SG/SF Tounde Yessoufou, So., St. John’s
6’5, 220 lbs
2025-2026 Stats: 17.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.6 apg
It did not quite work out for Tounde Yessoufou at Baylor, and the move to a more balanced St. John’s team should help. If he can focus on his defense and continuing to refine his jump shot, he could be a first round pick.
