Draft order based on point differential. Once every team has played at least 8 games I will switch to “if the draft were held today” order.

1. Arizona Cardinals
QB Darian Mensah, Miami
6’3, 205 lbs
2026 Stats: 166-204, 2151 yards, 22 TD, 1 INT
The quarterback market is completely unpredictable right now. Darian Mensah is probably getting NFL money to play for Miami. Drew Mestemaker nd CJ Carr are sophomores. Dante Moore and Julian Sayin are injured. But the Moore situation further proves that quarterbacks should strike while the iron is hot. Too much can go wrong if they do not capitalize on success. Mensah has been incredibly accurate and efficient for the Hurricanes, sporting an insane completion percentage and touchdown to assist ratio. He may not be the biggest, but he is strong and athletic enough to become a Pro Bowl quarterback. Arizona has spent a lot of draft capital on the offense. They need a quarterback to put it all together.

2. Los Angeles Chargers
WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
6’4, 222 lbs
2026 Stats: 52 rec, 984 yards, 12 TD
It has been a lost season for the Chargers, but adding an absolute elite talent could ease the pain a bit. Jeremiah Smith is the best receiver prospect since Calvin Johnson. His mix of size, skills and production has made him the best player in college football. Positional need will be the only reason he may not be the first overall pick next spring.

3. Miami Dolphins
EDGE Colin Simmons, Texas
6’3, 246 lbs
2026 Stats: 25 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 2 FF
The Dolphins will probably take a quarterback if they land the first overall pick, because that is what teams have to do, but this is a roster that needs everything, and should go best player available if they are picking here. Colin Simmons has been as good as advertised. He leads the entire nation in sacks with 10.5. He is next to unblockable ad a pass rusher, and he has gotten stronger in effort to hold up against the run.

4. Tennessee Titans
CB Leonard Moore, Notre Dame
6’2, 197 lbs
2026 Stats: 13 tackles, 5 PD
Tennessee continues to field a barely-there roster, and needs help everywhere. Along with Smith and Simmons, Leonard Moore is an elite prospect. He has the size/speed combinations that scouts dream of from a secondary prospect. His stats may not jump off the page, but that is because opposing coaches stay away from his side of the field.

5. Philadelphia Eagles
OT Jordan Seaton, LSU
6’5, 307 lbs
2026 Stats: N/A
A trade and a retirement has taken two offensive lineman away from the Eagles, and Landon Dickerson may be next. Jordan Seaton has been solid, if not spectacular. His floor remains high, and he is a very safe bet to step into a starting role right away, likely as Lane Johnson’s replacement.

6. Washington Commanders
WR Charlie Becker, Indiana
6’4, 208 lbs
2026 Stats: 42 rec, 726 yards, 8 TD
If the Commanders want to get the most out of Jayden Daniels, they need more explosive skill position talent. Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh are the best receiver duo in college football. Becker is the definition of a big play threat, averaging over 17 yards per catch with 8 touchdowns.Offenses who miss out on Jeremiah Smith will be very satisfied with Becker.

7. New Orleans Saints
CB Ashton Hampton, Clemson
6’2, 205 lbs
2026 Stats: 29 tackles, 1 INT, 9 PD
It has been another disappointing season for Clemson, but the defense has a few very good prospects, led by Ashton Hampton. He has elite size, and the CB1 skills to match. The Saints have been looking for a Marshon Lattimore replacement for years.

8. New York Jets (from IND)
QB Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State
6’3, 215 lbs
2026 Stats: 157-239, 2326 yards, 20 TD, 6 INT
The Jets added a ton of players, both through free agency, and the draft, and, during the 2027 draft, will have three first round picks for a second straight year. They are almost certain to draft a young quarterback. Drew Mestemaker may be the best quarterback in this class. The redshirt sophomore has made a successful jump in competition. He is a gunslinger with a big time arm, and has some Josh Allen-like qualities.

9. Las Vegas Raiders
EDGE Dylan Stewart, South Carolina
6’5, 250 lbs
2026 Stats: 7 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 FF
After a surprising 3-0 start, the Raiders lack of talent has caught up to them. They need playmakers on both sides of the ball. It has been a frustrating year for South Carolina, and Dylan Stewart in particular, who had to miss one game due to suspension. He is a top notch pass rushing talent, however, as good as any defender in this class. He will not last long on draft day.

10. New York Jets
CB Ellis Robinson IV, Georgia
6’0, 180 lbs
2026 Stats: 13 tackles, 1 INT, 5 PD
With the quarterback situation taken care of, the Jets can continue to fortify the rest of the roster. Ellis Robinson IV was a top recruit who sat during his freshman for a deep Georgia team, but has been as good as advertised since then. He is a fantastic athlete and has a knack for making plays.

11. Cleveland Browns
QB CJ Carr, Notre Dame
6’2, 215 lbs
2026 Stats: 129-193, 1639 yards, 16 TD, 1 INT
Deshaun Watson has not embarrassed himself this year for the surprising Browns, but the quarterback of the future is not on this roster. CJ Carr is another redshirt sophomore that should use a great season as a spring board towards the NFL.He may be more of a glorified game manager than a true game-changer, but is quite accurate and has plenty of room to grow.

12. Carolina Panthers
LB Chris Cole, Georgia
6’3, 235 lbs
2026 Stats: 39 tackles, 2.5 sacks
The Panthers have invested most of its recent early draft picks on offense, and the defense could use some game-changers. Chris Cole is the Arvell Reese of this draft class. Georgia asks a lot out of its linebackers, and Cole has responded, both as a pass rusher and run defender. Put him on the field and let him make plays.

13. Houston Texans
OT Trevor Goosby, Texas
6’7, 325 lbs
2026 Stats: N/A
Houston’s offensive line remains a major work in progress. Trevor Goosby, a sure-fire first round prospect, recently suffered an injury, but is expected to make a full recovery, and reportedly could make a draft decision soon. He has elite left tackle size, and plenty of experience i a pro-style offense.

14. Atlanta Falcons
WR Cam Coleman, Texas
6’3, 204 lbs
2026 Stats: 21 rec, 348 yards, 6 TD
Atlanta has used a lot of recent first round picks on offense, but the receiver group outside of Drake London is quite shallow. The Texas passing game has struggled, but Cam Coleman remains a great prospect, despite the pedestrian numbers. He has ideal size, and is a great route runner.

15. New York Jets (from GB)
DT Xavier Gilliam, Tennessee
6’2, 305 lbs
2026 Stats: 25 tackles, 6 sacks, 2 FF
New York chose to draft a Sauce Gardner replacement with its previous pick, and selects their next Quinnen Williams here. Xavier Gilliam is one of many very productive three year sophomores in my 2027 draft class. He is big, strong, and offers rare pass rushing ability for his position.

16. Baltimore Ravens
DT Will Echoles, Ole Miss
6’3, 315 lbs
2026 Stats: 21 tackles, 1.5 sacks
Baltimore is relying on the ageless Calias Campbell to hold things down on the defensive line. Will Echoles is a solid, complete defensive tackle who should thrive at end in the Ravens 3-4 scheme.

17. New York Giants
DT David Stone, Oklahoma
6’3, 312 lbs
2026 Stats: 29 tackles, 2 sacks
The third straight defensive tackle to come off the board, New York gets its much needed Dexter Lawrence replacement.David Stone, a former top recruit, is still scratching the surface of his potential. He has fantastic size and elite talent, and his best football is still ahead f him.

18. Cleveland Browns (from LAR)
OG Greg Johnson, Minnesota
6’6, 325 lbs
2026 Stats: N/A
Offensive line is never the most exciting position to draft if you are a fan, but Cleveland must continue to overhaul that unit, especially with it continued struggles in the running game.Greg Johnson has elite size and more than enough experience to step in and start right away.

19. Denver Broncos
TE Trey’Dez Green, LSU
6’7, 237 lbs
2026 Stats: 19 rec, 272 yards, 2 TD
The Broncos offensive struggles have been well documented. Sean Payton offenses have always worked best with a talented tight end up the middle. Trey’Dez Green looks like he was built in a tight end lab. Tall, quick and strong, he has immense potential.

20. Dallas Cowboys (from GB)
EDGE Yhonzae Pierre, Alabama
6’3, 251 lbs
2026 Stats: 25 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 FF
Dallas needs to draft defensive players until the end of time. They took Malachi Lawrence in the first round in 2026, but he only has one sack this year in a part time role. Yhonzae Pierre is a bit like former Crimson Tide rusher Dallas Turner. He is still more potential than production at this point, but has double digit sack potential.

21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
TE Jamari Johnson, Oregon
6’5, 255 lbs
2026 Stats: 24 rec, 293 yards, 2 TD
Kenyon Sadiq got all the pub for Oregon in 2025, but fellow Ducks tight end Jamari Johnson was nearly as productive. Oregon has been a disaster this year, but Johnson has shown enough to be a first round pick. He is big, athletic, and a real chain mover. The Buccaneers could use an inline presence to take some pressure off of their smallish wideout group.

22. Pittsburgh Steelers
QB Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss
6’0, 205 lbs
2026 Stats: 167-262, 1926 yards, 16 TD, 7 INT
I am not sure what to make of Trinidad Chambliss. I just have a hard time mocking him early to a bad team that might be aiming for more upside at the position. But the25 year old would be a great fit for a team like Pittsburgh, who does not have a long-term option under center, but is never bad enough to be in position to draft a top prospect. Chambliss is coming off perhaps his worst game as a Rebel, throwing 3 picks in a loss to Texas, but remains a solid option. I just do not think he is a top ten guy, but what do I know? I just run a fan made video game sports website.

23. New England Patriots
WR Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama
6’0, 184 lbs
2026 Stats: 23 rec, 415 yards, 4 TD
The Patriots need receiver help, and thought they were getting it with AJ Brown, but he has struggled mightily, and may not be a long term option. Ryan Coleman-Williams has cooled off a bit since a blistering freshman season, but I still have him as a first round pick, even though he may top out as a situational WR2 with some kick return ability.

24. Detroit Lions
CB Kelley Jones, Mississippi State
6’4, 205 lbs
2026 Stats: 24 tackles, 7 PD
Cornerback is the biggest need for a Lions team that has never been able to put together a defense that can support its championship level offense. Kelley Jones has safety size, but corner agility. He is tough, a great tackler and solid in coverage.

25. Buffalo Bills
S KJ Boden, Georgia
6’0, 185 lbs
2025 Stats: 22 tackles, 1 INT, 3 PD
The Bills have Cole Bishop, but have been relying on short term options opposite him at safety. KJ Boden might not have the size you look for in a starting safety, but he is a ball hawk, play-maker and solid tackler. He should also excel in nickel packages, as more and more teams are playing three safeties on passing downs.

26. Tennessee Titans (from CHI)
OT Trevor Lauck, Iowa
6’5, 314 lbs
2026 Stats: N/A
Tennessee just acquired this pick from Chicago in the blockbuster Jeffrey Simmons trade. The Titans need a long-term replacement for Dan Moore at tackle. Iowa is one of the better schools at developing offensive linemen, and they have two potential first round picks in Trevor Lauck and Kade Pieper. Lauck is a technically sound blocker who should be able to step in to almost any position along the line.

27. Kansas City Chiefs
WR Nick Marsh, Indiana
6’3, 210 lbs
2026 Stats: 34 rec, 610 yards, 7 TD
The Chiefs have relied on middling options for Patrick Mahomes since trading Tyreek Hill half a decade ago. Nick Marsh was a first round sleeper as a Michigan State Spartan, and has continued his productivity at Indiana. He has the size and big play ability you look for.

28. Seattle Seahawks
TE Luke Reynolds, Virginia Tech
6’4, 250 lbs
2026 Stats: 50 rec, 493 yards, 6 TD
Seattle is one of the deeper teams in the league, and could afford to go with the best talent available here. Luke Reynolds is my third tight end off the board in the first round. He has been a first down machine for the Hokies, continuing the productivity he showed at Penn State earlier in his career.

29. Cincinnati Bengals
CB Zabien Brown, Alabama
6’0, 194 lbs
2026 Stats: 19 tackles, 4 PD
The Bengals have three upcoming free agents in the secondary, and cornerback is an area of need regardless. Zabien Brown is not spectacular in any one area, but is technically sound, and comes from a school that is great at developing defenders.

30. Minnesota Vikings
QB Dante Moore, Oregon
6’3, 220 lbs
2026 Stats: 69-99, 926 yards, 9 TD,0 INT
Will Minnesota actually draft another quarterback after the failed JJ McCarthy experiment? Dante Moore’s decision to forgo the top ten of the 2026 draft could not have gone worse, but all is not lost. He remains just as talented, and may have shut down the rest of his season to salvage what is left of his draft stock. This is a good spot in the draft to take the gamble.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars
OT Elijah Paige, USC
6’7, 315 lbs
2026 Stats: N/A
The Jaguars have one of the more balanced rosters in the league, but they could stand to upgrade Walker Little at left tackle.Elijah Paige was a mid-season second team All-American. He has been fantastic in pass protection. He may be a bit raw as a prospect, but has first round ability.

32. San Francisco 49ers
OG Carter Smith, Indiana
6’5, 310 lbs
2026 Stats: N/A
The 49ers have a good offensive line, but it is getting old. Carter Smith is able to play any spot along the offensive line, and should settle in at guard when he does find a home.
