I just dropped my most recent 2027 NFL Draft player rankings, so this is a great time for my next 2027 NFL Mock Draft.
Draft order is based on projected Madden NFL 27 quarterback rankings, courtesy of Madden Ratings. Because, this is a video game, so why not?

1. Cleveland Browns
QB Arch Manning, Texas
6’4, 226 lbs
2025 Stats: 246-404, 3163 yards, 26 TD, 7 INT
The Browns traded Myles Garret, signaling yet another rebuild. There is not much to get excited about, especially when it comes to the quarterbacks. Expect Cleveland to be in on all of the top names. College quarterbacks are always so volatile, that it is rare for a Trevor Lawrence or Caleb Williams to go wire-to-wire as a top prospect. Right now, it looks like Arch Manning, Dante Moore and Julian Sayin. Do not pencil any of those guys at the top. Someone else could emerge. Arch Manning has franchise changing, star potential. It was a rough go of things at times at Texas, but he looked more and more like a blue chipper as the 2025 season went on. He has the arm strength and size to be a superstar, and Texas is locked and loaded for a championship run.
2. New York Jets
QB Dante Moore, Oregon
6’3, 206 lbs
2025 Stats: 296-412, 3565 yards, 30 TD, 10 INT
Mark Sanchez, Sam Darnold, Zach Wilson. Drafting a quarterback never seems to work out for the Jets, but they have to keep trying. With a ton of early draft picks dedicated to building the rest of the roster, the time is now. Dante Moore could have been a top ten pick in 2026, but, thanks in part to the new NIL landscape, chose to return to Oregon, in hopes of improving and winning a national championship. He has everything you look for in an elite signal caller, and started to clean up a lot of messes he made at UCLA. He could easily be the first overall pick next year.
3. Miami Dolphins
WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
6’3, 223 lbs
2025 Stats: 83 rec, 1243 yards, 12 TD
If Miami finishes with the first overall pick, I think they look at a quarterback. That is usually how things go. If not, they should go elsewhere. Malik Willis will be around for a couple of seasons, and this is a roster that desperately needs talent everywhere. Jeremiah Smith has been a match up nightmare, target hog since the second he stepped onto the Ohio State campus. He is built like a tight end, and can do everything you ask from a wide receiver. He is the most talented prospect in this class, and should be the first non-quarterback taken. Well, as much as you can say a year before the draft.
4. Atlanta Falcons
OT Jordan Seaton, LSU
6’5, 307 lbs
2025 Stats: N/A
WIth Kaleb McGary retiring, and Jake Matthews entering his mid-30’s, offensive tackle could quickly become a need in Atlanta. I am a Colorado fan, and it hurts to see Jordan Seaton leave, but that is the reality of college football. He outgrew that program, and will finish his development at LSU. He is as talented as any player in this class, and early reports out of Louisiana say he is transforming his body and game, and should be a very high pick.
5. Las Vegas Raiders
EDGE Colin Simmons, Texas
6’3, 240 lbs
2025 Stats: 43 tackles, 12 sacks
The Raiders always seem to have a shallow roster full of needs, and this year is no different. Colin Simmons may be the most feared pass rusher in college football. He enters his third college season with more than 20 career sacks on his resume. He may be a bit small and one dimensional right now, but has the ability to become a very good all around defender. Guys who can get after the quarterback like Simmons are drafted high every year.
6. Tennessee Titans
EDGE Dylan Stewart, South Carolina
6’5, 245 lbs
2025 Stats: 33 tackles 4.5 sacks, 3 FF
The Titans added Jeremiah Johnson during the off-season, and drafted Keldric Faulk in the first round, but they still lack that true pass rusher that can instill terror in opposing quarterbacks. Dylan Stewart is one of the most talented players in college football. He could flirt with double digit sacks in the NFL, and is an adequate run defender as well. It will be tough going in the SEC, but he could have an All-American season for the Gamecocks.
7. Minnesota Vikings
CB Leonard Moore, Notre Dame
6’2, 197 lbs
2025 Stats: 31 tackles, 5 INT, 1 FF
The Vikings need a quarterback, but they seem to think this is a playoff roster, and I doubt they will want to go the rookie route again so soon. So, I will keep mocking cornerbacks to Minnesota until they actually draft one. Leonard Moore is a big time playmker at cornerback, with great size at 6’2, 197 lbs. According to CBS Sports, Moore is the only All-American defender from 2025 who will return to college football in 2026. This is a very deep cornerback class, and Moore currently leads the way.
8. Arizona Cardinals
QB Julian Sayin, Ohio State
6’1, 208 lbs
2025 Stats: 301-391, 3610 yards, 32 TD, 8 INT
Arizona has the makings of a special offense. Jeremiyah Love was drafted, to go along with Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson. They desperately need a quarterback to bring it all together. Julian Sayin may not have the size that the other two quarterbacks have, but he will have almost 30 games of experience by the time his junior season wraps up,, and has enough arm strength to be successful. While he will continue to be surrounded by NFL talent, he did complete 77 percent of his passes, and is the engine that makes Ohio State go. I feel less confident about Sayin than I do the two players picked above him, but with continued development, he should be a solid NFL starter, at the least.
9. New York Giants
WR Cam Coleman, Texas
6’3, 201 lbs
2025 Stats:56 rec, 708 yards, 5 TD
With two top ten picks, the Giants went offensive line and pass rush, just like they did during the ill-fated Kayvon Thibodeaux/Evan Neal draft. The offense could use another skill position talent. Cam Coleman showed flashes of greatness at Auburn, and he hopes transferring to Texas will unlock his potential. With he and Ryan Wingo, Arch Manning will have an elite receiver duo to throw to. Coleman has the required speed and size combination to be a WR1 at the NFL level
10. New Orleans Saints
CB Ellis Robinson IV, Georgia
6’0, 180 lbs
2025 Stats: 20 tackles, 4 INT
The Saints are still in the early stages of rebuilding a roster that got old and expensive, and will go best player available. Ellis Robiinson IV was en elite recruit who sat his first year at Georgia, but showed what he was capable of with four interceptions as a part time cornerback. He is expected to be an every down starter as a redshirt sophomore, and has the look of a true shut down corner at the next level.
11. Houston Texans
OT Trevor Goosby, Texas
6’7, 325 lbs
2025 Stats: N/A
The website I used is apparently not a fan of CJ Stroud. Even after dedicating 2026 picks to address the offensive line, it probably remains the weak link on this roster. Trevor Goosby could have been a first round pick in 2026, but chose to return to Texas, where he will be a part of a loaded roster with several first round prospects. He has elite size for the left tackle position, and could be the answer to a long term question mark for the Texans.
12. New York Jets (from IND)
WR Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama
6’0, 182 lbs
2025 Stats: 49 rec, 689 yards, 4 TD
The Jets had three first round picks in 2026 and could have the same next year. New York drafts another skill position player here, to go along with Garrett Wilson, Omar Cooper Jr. and Kenyon Sadiq. Ryan Williams added Coleman to his name, and will hope to add more to his game. He is a “99 speed” demon, but struggled with consistency and drops a bit during his sophomore season. But he has game changing speed and ability, and was still one of the younger receivers in college in 2025. The Jets have the extra draft capital to take the risk.
13. Carolina Panthers
EDGE Yhonzae Pierre, Alabama
6’3, 253 lbs
2025 Stats: 52 tackles, 8 sacks
Other than Jaelan Phillips, Carolina did not do much to address a troublesome pass rush, and that was before Nic Scourton suffered a serious injury in training camp. Yhonzae Pierre has followed in the footsteps of Will Anderson Jr. and Dallas Turner, as Alabama’s next great EDGE rusher. During his first extended action during the 2025 season, he had 8 sacks and showed strong ability as a run stopper as well. He has top ten potential.
14. Washington Commanders
DT A’Mauri Washington, Oregon
6’3, 330 lbs
2025 Stats:33 tackles, 1.5 sacks
The Commanders are transitioning to a 3-4 defense, and, as is usually the case with defense switches, lack the pieces, especially along the defensive line. A’Mauri Washington, the first senior to go in this mock, would make an ideal nose tackle. He is big, strong, a solid run defender and can even get after the quarterback on occasion.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers
OG Cayden Green, Missouri
6’5, 324 lbs
2025 Stats: N/A
The Steelers desperately need a long term option at quarterback, but there is a reason they are still searching. This team is always too good to pick in the top ten. That is the case again in this mock, where I do not have a fourth quarterback ranked as a first round prospect right now. With aging options at quarterback, Pittsburgh needs to continue to rebuild the offensive line, even after taking several in the first round in recent years. Cayden Green is my favorite interior offensive lineman. I have had him as a first round pick for years, and he enters his senior season at left tackle for Missouri, which will further enhance his draft profile.
16. Denver Broncos
TE Jamari Johnson, Oregon
6’5, 257 lbs
2025 Stats: 32 rec, 510 yards, 3 TD
Denver may be the deepest team in the NFL, so they can afford a luxury pick here. Kenyon Sadiq, former tight end for Oregon, was a first round pick in 2026, but his backup may have been a better NFL prospect. Jamari Johnson should follow in his footsteps this year. Splitting time with Sadiq, Johnson had over 500 yards as a sophomore. Big, strong, and quick, he is the complete package at tight end.
17. Philadelphia Eagles
OT Carter Smith, Indiana
6’5, 307 lbs
2025 Stats: 33 tackles, 1.5 sacks
The Eagles have a relatively deep roster, but could have questions to answer along the offensive line soon. The defending champion Indiana Hoosiers are once again loaded with NFL prospects. Carter Smith may be better suited inside at guard, but I think he is athletic enough to remain at tackle, probably the right side. He could be the heir apparent for Lane Johnson.
18. Seattle Seahawks
WR Nick Marsh, Indiana
6’3, 213 lbs
2025 Stats: 34 tackles, 6 sacks
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is one of the best receivers in football, but the Seahawks need an outside counterpart. Nick Marsh chose to transfer to the National champions and play for a coach that made Omar Cooper Jr. a first round pick last year. Marsh has it all, the size and speed combination that could make him a good WR1 at the next level. He will now get to show what he can do on a national stage.
19. Jacksonville Jaguars
OG Brandon Baker, Texas
6”7, 312’4, 305 lbs lbs
2025 Stats: N/A
The Jaguars offensive line is in flux. Walker Little has been a disappointment and there are a couple of upcoming free agents. Brandon Baker is the starting right tackle for Texas, but he likely slides inside in the pros. The former top recruit has been as good as advertised for the Longhorns, and forms perhaps the best tackle duo in the country, with fellow first round pick Trevor Goosby.
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
CB Brice Pollock, Texas Tech
6’0, 195 lbs
2025 Stats: 48 tackles, 5 INT
Tampa Bay is counting on former top prospect Benjamin Morrison to start at cornerback, but he has struggled to stay healthy, even going back to his days at Notre Dame. Brice Pollock is one of the most slept on players in this class. To me, he is comparable to Mansor Delane. He picked off five passes as a junior, and should have a big season for Texas Tech, the team that looks like the best in the Big 12.
21. Chicago Bears
EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon
6’5, 272 lbs
2025 Stats: 34 tackles, 6 sacks
The Bears chose against adding pass rushing help during the off-season, instead hoping for continued development for its youngsters opposite Montez Sweat. Chicago struggled to get after the quarterback in 2025, however, and you can never have enough pass rushers. Matayo Uiagalelei could have been a first round pick in 2026, but chose to stay at Oregon for his senior year, where he hopes to further improve as a run defender, and compete for a national championship. He is an NFL ready pass rusher, and refining his overall game could make him a solid first rounder.
22. San Francisco 49ers
S KJ Bolden, Georgia
6’0, 185 lbs
2025 Stats: 76 tackles, 2 INT
The 49ers had an interesting draft, reaching for several low upside 23 year olds. Perhaps they will aim a little higher this time around. KJ Bolden might not have the size you look for in a starting safety, but he is a ball hawk, play-maker and solid tackler. He should also excel in nickel packages, as more and more teams are playing three safeties on passing downs.
23. Los Angeles Chargers
LB Sammy Brown, Clemson
6’2, 235 lbs
2025 Stats: 106 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FF
The Chargers have been unable to upgrade Denzel Perryman, who is entering his mid 30’s, and is a weakness against the pass. That is not a problem for Sammy Brown. He is perhaps the best off the ball linebacker in the NFL. He can chase down ball carriers, rush the passer and drop back into coverage. Clemson does not develop blue chippers like they used to, but Brown is an exception.
24. Kansas City Chiefs
OT Elijah Paige, USC
6’7, 320 lbs
2025 Stats: N/A
Josh Simmons has become a fixture at left tackle, and Trey Smith remains one of the best offensive lineman in football, but Kansas City needs to continue to add upgrades, especially with Patrick Mahomes becoming more and more immobile. Elijah Paige is raw, but has the talent and size to become a solid starting tackle in the NFL. Offensive lineman usually rise during the draft process, even players who need more reps.
25. New York Jets (from GB)
CB Zabien Brown, Alabama
6’0, 192 lbs
2025 Stats: 39 tackles, 2 INT, 1 FF
The Jets will get the highest of Green Bay or Dallas first round pick, in a rare NBA-style draft compensation set up. This will be their sixth first round pick during the past two drafts. With so many picks, the Jets roster has become deeper, but they could use a cornerback to help make up for the loss of Sauce Gardner. Zabien Brown may not have elite size, but the former top recruit had a very good sophomore year, picking off two passes and playing solid man coverage. He should develop into a solid starter with the upside for more.
26. Detroit Lions
DT David Stone, Oklahoma
6’3, 315 lbs
2025 Stats: 43 tackles, 1.5 sacks
The Lions are still trying to rebuild a porous defense. David Stone was a high recruit who really took his game to another level as a sophomore. Even though he only had 1.5 sacks, he routinely caused havoc in the opposing offenses backfield. He is a very solid all around defensive tackle that could shoot up the board with another dominant season.
27. New England Patriots
TE Trey’Dez Green, LSU
6’7, 237 lbs
2025 Stats: 33 rec, 433 yards, 7 TD
The Patriots added AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs this off-season, in hopes of giving Drake Maye as many weapons as they can. Trey’Dez Green has the size of a tight end but runs like a wide receiver. He needs to get stronger to play more inline, but could be a match-up nightmare outside. His size and speed combination is unfair.
28. Baltimore Ravens
OG Anthonie Knapp, Notre Dame
6’5, 304 lbs
2025 Stats: N/A
Baltimore lost Tyler Lindenbaum over the off-season, further weakening an offensive line that is light on the interior. Anthonie Knapp is the starting left tackle for Notre Dame, but likely kicks inside in the pros. He is a very good run blocker, who should help extend the ageless Derrick Henry’s career.
29. Dallas Cowboys
CB Kelley Jones, Mississippi State
6’4, 195 lbs
2025 Stats: 34 tackles, 2 INT
The Cowboys are picking this late in this mock because of their offense. The defense, however? Still needs more help. Pick a position. Kelley Jones still may be a bit raw, but he has the chance to move up into the first round with a solid junior season for a less-than-traditional powerhouse school. He has great size, is a good tackler, and solid in coverage.
30. Cincinnati Bengals
DT Will Echoles, Ole Miss
6’3, 315 lbs
2025 Stats: 68 tackles, 5 sacks
Cincinnati traded for, and then extended, Dexter Lawrence, a rare move for a team that is notoriously cheap. Perhaps they do not want to waste the prime of Joe Burrow. They should not stop there. Will Echoles is a very talented interior lineman who had a fantastic first season as a starter as a sophomore. He has everything you look for in a pass rushing defensive tackle, with true double digit sack potential.
31. Cleveland Browns (from LAR)
DT Jayden Jackson, Oklahoma
6’2, 322 lbs
2025 Stats: 28 tackles, 3 sacks
The Browns started off this mock draft, and are close to finishing it, courtesy of the Myles Garrett blockbuster. It will take more than one player to replace his sack production. Getting Jared Verse back in the trade was nice, and adding an interior pass rusher like Jayden Jackson could also help. Jackson has good size, but is more than just a run stuffing nose tackle. Playing next to Mason Graham, he could make Cleveland’s defensive line a real strength.
32. Buffalo Bills
S Koi Perich, Oregon
6’1, 200 lbs
2025 Stats: 82 tackles, 1 INT, 1 sack
Buffalo signed CJ Gardner-Johnson, who should be a decent one year option, but they need a long term option at safety. Like Dillon Thieneman before him, Koi Perich has transferred up the Big 10 food chain to Oregon. He had a tremendous freshman season where he picked off 5 passes, and added another as a sophomore. He is a good tackler and a big play threat in the passing game, and could flirt with first round status.
